A British farmer’s collection of Chinese antiques he picked up for as little as 100 pound each has sold for a massive 45.9 million Pound at auction .

Roger Pilkington put together an array of 100 pieces of Chinese ceramics during the 1950s and 1960s.

During that time Mr Pilkington, who died in 1969 aged just 40, acquired cache of artifacts from the Tang, Song, Ming and Qing dynasties.
